Building Better Together
At Designing Dreams, we believe great design extends beyond the spaces we create. It shapes the community we share. Throughout the year, we support incredible organizations and foundations in Folsom, California and the surrounding areas.
Hands4Hope
Hands4Hope is a non-profit, youth-driven organization based in El Dorado Hills, California. Participants range from Kindergarten to 12th grade. Their primary objective is to enable youth to make a difference in their communities and offer meaningful community service projects combined with instruction and reflection, school-based clubs, and diverse leadership opportunities. Youth are able to decide their own level of involvement. Hands4Hope is led by a Youth Board, mentored by a Youth Development Coordinator.
Designing a Better Tomorrow
Our partnership with Hands4Hope reflects what we value most—connection, purpose, and community. Throughout the year, we’re honored to support their mission and collaborate on their signature fundraising event, Nashville Songwriters Live, where stories and songs come together to inspire change. This acoustic performance is held at the Harris Center for the Arts at Folsom Lake College, Folsom, California. Together, we’re building more than homes, we’re building hope.
Powerhouse Ministries
Powerhouse Ministries is a Christian non-profit which exists to inspire and empower people to rise above their circumstances, change their lives, and impact their community. Their community contributions include a Women and Children’s Center, Men’s Residential Recovery Center, Crisis and Community Care Center and leadership programs for youth and college students in Folsom, California.

Through our partnership with Powerhouse Ministries, we’re proud to support community programs that make a lasting impact. In addition, we are collectively designing and building a new facility in Folsom, California to support the organization’s efforts. Our shared mission is simple. Building spaces and futures filled with purpose.
Twin Lakes Food Bank
The Twin Lakes Food Bank mission is simple. Alleviate hunger and provide hope to individuals and families in need throughout our Folsom community. They rely on the incredible generosity of local donors, volunteers, and partners to make a lasting impact, providing nonperishable foods, fresh produce, and essential resources to help families all year round. Their work thrives on the generosity of donors and volunteers who make it possible to feed family and fuel hope each day.
Fighting Hunger, Feeding Hope
At Designing Dreams, we believe that a strong community begins with compassion, and access to something as fundamental as food. That’s why we’re proud to support the Twin Lakes Food Bank, a Folsom, California non-profit dedicated to fighting hunger and nourishing families throughout our community. Through food drives and the Twin Lakes Food Bank Gala, we join in their commitment to provide essential resources for those in need.
Designing Dreams: Building a Better Future
We believe in creating more than beautiful homes, we’re helping build a stronger future for Folsom and the surrounding community. Throughout the years Designing Dreams has supported various non-profit organizations, local schools and public safety foundations.
- Vista Del Lago and Folsom High School fund raisers, sporting events and teams, School Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO) and other student initiatives.
- District Church in El Dorado Hills, community charities and sports leagues.
- Folsom Police Association toy drives, donations and annual galas.
- Donations during the Big Day of Giving.
