Meet the Designer with Jerilynn Ratcliff

From a young age I’ve always had a love for design. I would advise my parents on remodeling ideas for our family home, my visions typically bigger than their pocketbook. I knew I wasn’t cut out for the typical college path and instead chose to attend The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. My love for design and remodeling translated into my own homes, as well as friends and relatives homes, as a distraction from the chaos of raising three children. With my children grown, and a move from the Bay Area to El Dorado Hills, I desired to pursue my love of beautifying homes once again. Designing Dreams and Remodeling offered the perfect opportunity to achieve that goal. Whether it’s helping customers to pick the perfect flooring for their lifestyle, refreshing a tired kitchen or renovating an entire home, Designing Dreams provides a highly experienced crew to get the job done. I have to admit, currently, I am a lover of all things white and crisp from kitchen and bathroom cabinets to bright white walls. When clients share inspiration photos of what they love, I enjoy helping them to achieve their personal style within their budget. Creating a space that clients will enjoy for years to come is always the goal for me.
